Bunnie's Minestrone Soup

12 cups water

1 tube of Maneschevitz Minestrone soup

½ cup mini max or small shells

1 cup of cubed potatoes

1 cup of cubed celery

1 can (16 ounces) stewed tomatoes

½ cup chopped green pepper

4 beef bouillon cubes

1 cup cubed carrots

1 cup chopped onions

½ lb. fresh or frozen green beans, cut in 1 inch pieces

¼ cup chopped parsley

½ cup each, dried kidney beans, lima beans, navy beans, rinsed 

2 bay leaves

½ teaspoon each pepper, basil, oregano

¼ cup olive oil

1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram

salt and pepper to taste

 

Add all ingredients except mini max to water and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 2-3 hours or until beans are tender. We sometimes add whatever vegetables we have on hand, for example, fresh cauliflower or cabbage, or frozen corn.
